Bardini museum re-opens
There are some museums in Florence considered “minor” that are real jewels; one of them is the Bardini Museum, which reopened to the public in April after a long restoration, it is in only open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, from 11 a-m- to 5 p.m. but it is worth seeing. It contains , unique essential pieces that the antiques collector Stefano Bardini conserved: paintings, sculptures, ceramics masterpieces by artists like Della Robbia, Antonio del Pollaiolo, Donatello . Perfect the choice of the walls’colors: different shades of blue which are a perfect setting for this beautiful collection. I was fascinated by the drawings of Tiepolo (father and son) and “la Carità”, a memorable sculpture by Tino Camaino.
