I was born in Matera and I have been living in Florence since I was 12 years old. In 2002 I opened the B&B Le Stanze di Santa Croce. Now I am very happy to tell you about my new project: a “charming  tour” to discover the city of Matera with me, http://www.materawithme.it  It is an UNESCO World Heritage and the Capital of European Culture in 2019 but we’ll discover the the most charming places of the region Basilicata too. Do not think about a big group tour, no, that isn’t my style; I propose always what I like, The Stanze of Santa Croce in Florence, is the b & b that I would like to find when I travel and therefore, as I love to travel, I am offering you the same tour I would like to do. It is a journey to discover my hometown: Matera and its region, the Basilicata for up to 8 people, so if you are a group of friends or a large family it might be just for you, otherwise you will have the opportunity to meet new friends.
I spent the whole winter to work it out and in my opinion, it is really as I wanted it!
